Virtual charades is a game where players take turns acting out a word or phrase without speaking, while the other players try to guess what the word or phrase is. It is typically played over a video call or other virtual platform. The game can be played individually or in teams, and the team or individual with the most correct guesses at the end of the game wins.
Ways to Play
Reverse Charades: In this version, instead of one player acting out a word or phrase for the team to guess, the whole team acts out the word or phrase for one player to guess. This can be done virtually by having each team member take turns acting out the word or phrase on camera for the designated guesser.
Impression Charades: This version requires players to act out an impression of a celebrity, character, or well-known person instead of a word or phrase. This can be done virtually by having players use props or costumes they have at home to help with their impression.
Music Charades: This version requires players to act out a song or musical artist instead of a word or phrase. This can be done virtually by playing a clip of the song or artist for the player to guess, and having the player act out the song or artist on camera.
Pop Culture Charades: This version requires players to act out a movie, TV show, or other pop culture reference instead of a word or phrase. This can be done virtually by having players use props or costumes they have at home to help with their act.
Animal Charades: This version requires players to act out an animal instead of a word or phrase. This can be done virtually by having players use stuffed animals or animal masks they have at home to help with their act.
Action Charades: In this version, players act out a physical action or activity instead of a word or phrase. This can be done virtually by having players use props or gestures on camera to act out the action or activity.
