NewlyBed Game
A wildly inappropriate twist on The Newlywed Game, for 4 daring and debaucherous couples, throuples, or romantic teams.

The NewlyBed Games takes the classic “how well do you know your partnerhip?” format and cranks it all the way up.
Teams try to match each other’s answers across three rounds of questions, from cheeky to filthy, playful to jaw-dropping.
The better you know each other, the more points you’ll earn… or the more stories you’ll end up explaining.
Either way, you won’t forget this amazingly fun game.
Rules:
-
This game is meant to be funny, messy, and a little too honest. Embrace the chaos.
-
Phrasing matters, andthe host makes the final call on whether an answer counts.
-
Once something’s written down, it’s locked. No edits, no take-backs, no mercy. Maybe Punishments.
The NewlyBed Games – Host Script
In case you need a little assistance in hosting this game, here is an easy script to read off.

Opening Line
Read Aloud
“Welcome to The NewlyBed Games!
This is a game of love, lust, and just a little humiliation. You’ll be answering questions about your relationship, and trying to match what your partner(s) said. The more matches you get, the more points you earn. Highest score at the end wins… and everyone else walks away slightly exposed.”
Round 1
5 Points
Instructions to Players (Read Aloud):
“For Round One, one person from each team will leave the room or wear headphones so they can’t hear. The partner(s) staying behind will answer the first set of questions. When everyone’s finished, we’ll bring the others back and see if they can match what was said.”

Ask Round One questions. Collect all answers before bringing the others back.

Once Players Return:
“Alright, welcome back. Let’s see just how well your partner(s) know you, or how good they are at guessing. I’ll ask the same questions, and you’ll try to match what they said. Each correct match is worth 5 points.”

Read each question one by one, and reveal matches team by team. Mark points on your score sheet.
Round 2
10 Points
Instructions to Players (Read Aloud):
“Now we switch. If you answered questions last time, you’re up for a break, time to leave the room or put those headphones on. The rest of you, let’s see what you’ve got.”

Ask new Round Two questions. Repeat the process above.

Once Players Return:
“Round Two is here, and it’s worth double, 10 points per match. So even if you bombed Round One, it’s not over yet. Let’s see what you said this time…”
Bonus Round
25 Points
Instructions (Read Aloud):
“This is it, the Bonus Round. One final question, and everyone stays in the room for this one. You’ll all write your answer to the same question. No discussion, no peeking. To score the 25 points, your answers must match exactly.”

Distribute slips of paper or use the same answer sheets. Ask the Bonus Question. Collect all answers.

Reveal Answers:
“Time to see who’s truly in sync and who’s just out here winging it. Let’s go team by team and check those final answers.”
Closing
Read Aloud
“Tally those scores… and we have a winner! Congratulations to the team that clearly overcommunicates, or at least has excellent instincts. For everyone else… you’re still adorable. Just maybe don’t rehash that thermostat question on the way home.”
